Bose SoundTrue Ultra In-Ear Headphones

by | Oct 7, 2015

On Thursday, September 10, 2015, Bose® introduced its first noise-isolating in-ear headphones. The Bose SoundTrue® Ultra in-ear headphones join the current Bose SoundTrue product family and come two colors (Charcoal and Frost).

Bose SoundTrue Ultra In-Ear Headphones Features

Debuting for the first time with these headphones is Bose’s new StayHear® Ultra tips. Because each ear is different, the StayHear Ultra tips don't rely solely on a good fit within the ear. Rather, they rest on the outside of the ear canal for an acoustic seal. The headphones come with an updated around-ear design that's engineered to be comfortable and secure without the need for constant adjustments to reduce pressure or stay in place.

Also debuting with the SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones is a new T-joint cable that replaces the Y-joint cable found on previous headphones. The T-joint cable is less likely to come in contact with the body reducing the rustling sounds other headphones endure from touching or rubbing the cable. An inline remote and microphone allows you to control your music and to take calls. The headphones are available in two versions – one that is compatible with select Apple iPod, iPhone and iPad devices and one for most Samsung Galaxy smartphones and AndroidTM devices.

Pricing and Availability

The new Bose SoundTrue Ultra in-ear headphones are available now from and from select authorized resellers for a suggested retail price of $149.95.
