This week's Kodi Playlist Download is “The 80's and 90's.” As I mentioned in the previous playlists (for example, Kodi Playlist Download The 70's and 80's), I built these dual-decade playlists to satisfy the desires of those who want playlists that span more than just one decade. We'll continue on until we've gone through all of the dual-decades available. Today, it's the 80's and 90's. The 90's and 2000's is in the batter's box ready to take a swing at your music collection a few days from now.

The 80's and 90's? Big hair, Grunge, and a lot of me, Me, ME. The era of the super model began, Madonna wore a cone bra and Rave Culture made it's way across the Atlantic to settle on our shores. It was during the early part of this time that The Bobs got rolling (give 'em a listen). Good or bad, it wasn't as indifferent a time as some would lead you to believe. I was already out of college by this time but I have a lot of music in my collection from this 20-year period. Hopefully, your collection is as good or better than mine. The music is still a lot of fun to listen to.

After downloading the .ZIP file, you need to do two things:

  1. Unzip the playlist into your Kodi music playlist folder — You can find specific information on playlist folders in this article: Kodi Playlist Folders
  2. Start Kodi (if it isn't already running) and navigate to the Playlist section of your music library, select this new playlist and enjoy

Today's playlist is 744 bytes in size and contains all of your music from the 1980's and 1990's except for Christmas, Classical and Flamenco in random order.

That's all there is to it. Follow the instructions listed above and quick as you can say, "I Will Always Love You," you'll have a new music playlist.

Note: If you just copy the .ZIP file into your playlist folder, Kodi will handle it just fine. It sees the zip file and adds it to your list of playlists. Clicking on the .ZIP file will open it up and present you with the contents. In the case of today's file: “The 80's and 90's.” Click on that and it works like any other playlist.
