On Wednesday June 10, 2015, Logitech® announced the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 Plus. The Touch Keyboard K400 Plus is a living room keyboard that lets you control your computer screen on your TV.
An update of the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400, the K400 Plus features a 2.4 GHz (Logitech Unifying Protocol) wireless range of up to 33 feet (wireless range may vary depending on operating environment and computer setup) and an integrated 2-inch by 3-inch touchpad with adjustable cursor control, making it a compact all-in-one keyboard and mouse solution. Shortcut buttons give you access to volume controls and menu navigation, and the arrow buttons help you move through your media center's menus.
In addition, there is a second left-click button that lets you navigate and make selections with two hands. There are also shortcuts for Windows® and Android™ users and all hot keys work immediately – there is no configuration required.
The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 Plus comes in a neutral grey and features a slim design with rounded sides for comfort. It comes complete with two AA batteries pre-installed that Logitech says will last up to 18 months (battery life was independently tested for two-hours use per day. Actual battery life will vary with use, settings and environmental conditions.).
The K400 Plus was designed for use with a computer running Windows® 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and later, Android™ 5.0 or later or Chrome OS™ and one available USB port.
Pricing and Availability
The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 Plus is expected to be available in the United States in June, 2015, for a suggested retail price of $39.99, and worldwide in July.
